Do you often feel weighed down by negative thoughts or feelings of being overwhelmed? Do you struggle to maintain deep personal relationships or you’re more comfortable with relationships that are more surface level? If you’re experiencing feelings of loneliness or find it difficult to trust people, come talk to me. Together, we will discover strategies and work through implementation, inside and outside of session, to address the root cause of your difficulties to create lasting change to overcome life’s challenges. My philosophy to therapy is to build trust with grace, acceptance, and a willingness to enter into an individual’s experience alongside them as they navigate some of life’s most difficult phases.

I graduated from University of Arlington with a degree in Social Work. Now as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, I utilize an eclectic approach of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Solution Focused Brief Therapy, and Strengths Perspective. I am trained and certified in Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. I have been working in the field of mental health for over 10 years and in the private practice setting for over 5 years. During that time, I have experience successfully treating anxiety, depression, trauma, grief and loss, adjustment issues, women’s issues, and life’s transitions. I enjoy working with adolescents, teenagers, and adults of all ages. I am able to easily relate and connect to people from various backgrounds due to my strong desire to guide individuals to achieve their own life goals, interests, and aspirations.

My ideal client is an individual that is ready for change, eager to create and maintain balance in their life, seeking guidance in building meaningful relationships, and the willingness to allow me to work alongside them to navigate the therapeutic process. One of the toughest steps is to seek professional help and get started on this journey that could potentially be life changing. Invest in yourself by seeking professional help to improve your life and overcome difficulties. I will be honored and excited to walk this path with you.
